A bit about Glory Days Farm!
Those of you who have visited our website previously will see some changes. In years past we have brought in young, unhandled horses to train and sell to people looking for that life long trail riding companion. Our main focus was finding that "horse - human" match and making it happen. We will still have horses for sale but our main focus is changing.
For some time now, we have been swamped with people asking for help with the trail horses they already had. It seems a lot of people have purchased horses to train themselves and, of course most of the time that doesn't happen... not everyone can finish a horse… that's why there are horse trainers, we are here to help. Our main focus now, will be helping with relationships that already exist. It may be a horse you purchased to bond with and is now ready for training... or one you have had a while and he won't load, won't cross water, won't stand calmly to mount, or how about this one: "He's perfect, but I can't ride him when it's windy".
So whether it's training from the ground up or fixing undesired behavior, we know you're out there "dealing with it" and we are sincerely here to help. Our end goal (as always) is to have you and your four - legged trail companion enjoying trail rides together with friends, family or just the two of you.
A trail ride should NEVER be a challenge - it should be a nice walk in the woods with a trusty friend. AGREE?
The following pages are intended to introduce you to us, our animal family, our farm and some wonderful people we have trained trail companions for. Many of them have become our friends. We ask you to look closely at the horses, their expressions and behavior. So, gather in the family, call in a friend, or kick back on your own and have a look, we promise you will see some awesome horses and you'll get an idea of what we turn out.
